Brocade Switching
BigIron and FastIron are going EOL
The new switch they are leading with is the ICX and they have a metro offering
which is hardened.
On the other side of the map, they offer the VDX which can be used
to create a VCS fabric. As far as I understand they are going to offer the VCS
fabric for free and not charge for additional licensing.
6710 is 1G only
6740T-1G is 1G but with a license can be upgraded to 10G.
6720 is low latency
6730 is FCoE capable.
6740 is their standard Datacenter offering for 10G with 40G uplinks.
8770 is their old Chassis which has new card.
To build a configuration Brocade has an online tool which you can use as a guest.

Brocade Routing
The routing platforms that Brocade is offering areNetIron CER
This is basically a decent router that can handle 1 million routes in Hardware.
So you can use it as a BGP platform to several providers.
The second offering is the Chassis.
The Chassis comes in 4 , 8 , 16, 32 slots.
This supports 1,10,40,100 G.
